Welcome to OktoberFitFest!
You’re probably wondering what the heck this “OktoberFitFest” thing is all about. No, scratch that. You’re probably wondering why Brett Blake, Michael Neimand, Jon Congdon, and I, are dressed in Lederhosen holding dumbbells. Well for one, because I thought it would be funny. And for two, we wanted to inspire you and all our Coaches to start new Challenge Groups in October – at least 1,500 of them.
As part of OktoberFitFest, we want to see at least 1,500 new Beachbody Challenge Groups started, with at least three challengers per group, up and running by November 5, 2012.
All you have to do is start a Beachbody workout program as part of a new Beachbody Challenge Pack and pledge your commitment in the Beachbody Challenge.
Once you’ve rallied your team, the leader of the Challenge Group will email the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
• Challenge Group leader’s name + Coach ID #
• Challenge Group member’s names and email addresses
• Fitness Program of your choice
• Confirmation that each member has taken the Beachbody Challenge pledge
October’s a notoriously tough month for health and fitness. We’re fighting against a normal beer-soaked Oktoberfest, the Halloween candy rush, cooler weather, and the year winding down, but if we can pull this off we will have, at a very minimum, 4,500 people on their way to living healthier, more fulfilling lives – and starting off the new year in BETTER shape than they did last year!
But, it doesn’t go anywhere without you. Even if you’re already on Day 50 of P90X, or waiting for Les Mills Combat to start your next fitness journey this December, you can still give a little push to others to take this Challenge – INVITE! INVITE! INVITE!
When everyone else is taking it easy, that’s when we hit the accelerator. Let’s get these groups rolling by November 5th.
