If you’re attending Summit this week…
Get your smartphone ready.
We’re broadcasting in a whole new way, and making some history!
In addition to all the great moments you are going to want to capture at Summit, we have two very special instances where we hope to make history. I can’t tell you any more at this point because, well, that would ruin the surprise, but trust me you’ll want to be ready.
Here’s what you have to do to be ready:
If you have an iPhone or Android phone:
1 • Download Instagram from the App Store.
2 • Set up an account.
3 • Follow the instructions below to set up your Instagram account to link with your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

If you already have all of this set up, awesome, you’re ahead of the game. If not, you’ve got time to get it rolling.
Once you’re up and running, AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: Make sure you start following @carldaikeler and @beachbody on Twitter and @beachbodyhq, @tbbcoach411, and @carldaikeler on Instagram.
Now you’re ready to be a participant in two historic moments, and you’ll get access to what’s going on behind the scenes before, during, after Summit.
FOR EVERYONE:
The official hashtag for the event is #CoachSummit. Be sure to include #CoachSummit in everything you share this week – it’s a great way to organize all the information you are learning and keep the conversation going with your Coaches who may be attending different workshops or weren’t able to make it this year.

I posted last Friday on my Facebook for those who are unable to make Summit and it’s worth repeating.
I want you to gang up on everyone you know who is NOT going to Summit. Tell them to congregate on my Facebook page. Follow the hashtag #CoachSummit all week. There will be 5,000+ Coaches sharing all of the activity in real-time. I’ll be providing many updates on what is going on in Vegas, and in my downtime, I want to drive as much activity outside of Vegas as we have EVER achieved. I’m talking about (1) your activities on inviting people to new challenge groups and your new coach announcements, (2) before/after Challenge Photos, (3) updates on your personal development activities. And when I get some good news from Summit, I can then share it during my presentations from the stage.
But I need your help, I need your focus and commitment next week to make this noteworthy. I will talk more about this on the Coach Call Monday morning. It’s “OPERATION: HEALTH BLITZ“, and if you want to have a week of total focus on the vital behaviors while you are NOT at Summit, we need to coordinate your team activity and keep the blitz going so I can brag about you at Summit.
This effort is multilateral. We are one unit, COMMITTED to working together. The statistics are alarming, but that’s all they are – statistics. I’ve seen hundreds of thousands real lives changed because of the work you guys do. Next week, whether you’re in Vegas, LA, Miami, Honolulu, Oklahoma City, Dallas, or anywhere in between, your individual effort is what matters most. We had to move this year’s Summit from LA to Vegas because we literally outgrew the venues. I want to outgrow the MGM… and it starts now.
I envision 1 million Coaches affecting 100,000,000 lives. There’s more than 300 million people living in the United States. I think we can reach 1/3 of them. What do you think Team Beachbody?

The social media geek in me is PUMPED for this aspect of Summit!
Thanks for posting this, Carl!
I’ll be attending Summit in 2013, so this year I’ll just have to follow the #CoachSummit hashtag :-)
Yeah, so that reply was supposed to be inline, not underneath Jeffreys’ reply. Sorry about that, Jeffrey! Since I am here under Jeffrey’s post, I just want to say that if any of you don’t already know this guy, make a point to find him and shake his hand. He’s a top-notch guy and an awesome resource for everything related to social media!!
Done and done!!! We’ll see you in a few days.
I’m all set up! This will be epic!
Done and Done. Super pumped to see you again Carl as well as the rest of the beachbody fam!
Way Awesome!!!! I can’t wait!!!
Absolutely will be doing this! Let’s do it!
Done and done and looking forward seeing everyone again.
Not complaining, but a note. For those of us with Windows Phones…we are left out. Instagram is not avialable for Windows Phone, yet.
Hey Cindy. I’m not positive about Windows, but I know Android has Instagram and all phones can access Twitter and Facebook. As long as you’re ready, it will still be a great moment to be a part of! Glad you’re going to be there!
EXCITED
This is great since I joined as a coach too late to make arrangements. I can attend virtually and relay to my group. Sweet!
